The ideal candidate will possess an active license to practice law in Virginia and bring a portable client base to the firm. This position requires a deep understanding of government contract law and a proven track record in managing and advising on complex legal matters related to government contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to government contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with government entities.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on government contract regulations and compliance issues.
• Manage and resolve disputes arising from government contracts, including litigation and arbitration.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting government contracts and advise clients accordingly.
• Leverage a portable client base and expand the firm's government contracts practice to assist in business development efforts.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Virginia.
• Significant experience in Government Contracts, including a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
• Proven track record of managing and resolving complex legal matters related to government contracts.
• Portable client base with the ability to bring new business to the firm.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Virginia.
