Duties:

• Handle a range of personal injury and commercial litigation cases
• Draft and argue motions, as well as take and defend depositions
• Provide legal research and writing support for complex litigation matters
• Manage a caseload while ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of legal services
• Work independently, while also collaborating with senior attorneys and staff
• Maintain strong client relationships and offer personalized legal counsel
• Utilize legal technology and software such as Westlaw, Lexis, Google Docs, and Time Matters
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings as necessary

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or pending admission)
• Proven experience in personal injury and commercial litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York State Bar admission or pending

Skills:

• Legal research and writing
• Motion drafting and deposition experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Westlaw/Lexis
• Familiarity with Time Matters and Dropbox is a plus
• Strong communication and client service skills
