A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team in Overland Park, Kansas. Specializing in creditor's rights and civil litigation, this firm is looking for an individual with 0-3 years of litigation experience to contribute to a dynamic practice.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining effective communication through email and voicemail.
• Collaborate closely with support staff and fellow attorneys to enhance operational efficiency.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with clients, opposing counsel, and pro se litigants.
• Exercise independent judgment in managing case progress and resolutions.
• Attend weekly court appearances, including travel for dockets, motion hearings, and trials.
• Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by senior partners.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Kansas.
• 0-3 years of litigation experience preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Kansas Bar license.

Skills:
