Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of law firm corporate transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have real estate joint venture experience, although private mergers and acquisitions experience or private investment funds experience may be considered.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on corporate real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Conducted due diligence and assisted in resolving legal issues about real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop strategies and provide legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.
  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate transactional law at a law firm.
  • Experience with real estate joint ventures is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and a record of achievement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
