The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 0-10 years of medical malpractice defense experience. The Attorney will be responsible for specializing in medical malpractice defense, representing healthcare providers in legal proceedings. The role involves providing legal counsel, conducting research, and advocating on behalf of clients in the medical field.

Duties:

• Specialize in medical malpractice defense.
• Represent healthcare providers in legal proceedings related to malpractice claims.
• Conduct legal research and analysis specific to medical malpractice cases.
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and defense tactics.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Provide legal advice to healthcare professionals regarding risk management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of specific experience in medical malpractice defense.
