This full-time position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of litigation matters, including legal research, negotiation, and providing legal advice. The role requires a strong ability to manage a caseload, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate must reside in Tucson, Arizona, or be willing to relocate.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on various litigation matters.
• Handle negotiation and settlement discussions in litigation cases.
• Manage a litigation caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Draft responses, motions, and briefs, ensuring clear and concise legal writing.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage the discovery process, including responding to written discovery and conducting e-discovery when necessary.
• Present oral arguments in court hearings.
• Communicate directly with clients, addressing their questions and managing expectations.
• Maintain an accurate record of billable hours.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of general legal practices.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet all litigation deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Arizona Bar.
