Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate cases related to managed care and health care issues.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing legal advice and coordinating effectively.
  • Handle regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed legal documents and pleadings.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide significant case management and client counseling.
  • Coordinate with other associates and staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.
  • Stay informed on relevant changes in laws and regulations affecting managed care and health care.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the California State Bar.
  • 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Experience in managed care or health care is required.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters.
  • Strong skills in client counseling and case management.

  • Significant experience in case management and client counseling.
