This position is open in multiple offices across the country, including Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Washington, ., and California. Key Responsibilities: - Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on investments in domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds - Draft and negotiate investment fund agreements and related documents - Assist with secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles - Conduct legal research and analysis related to investment fund matters - Collaborate with team members and work independently to provide high-quality work product and meet deadlines Qualifications: - JD degree and admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction - 3+ years of experience in investment funds, preferably with experience in private equity, real estate, venture capital, or hedge funds - Strong analytical and writing skills - Attention to detail and good business judgment - Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work well in a team and independently Essential Job Expectations: - Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties - Produce quality work product and respond to correspondence in a timely manner - Meet deadlines and expectations for work duties - Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies - Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as needed - Embrace and uphold the firm's values Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Sedentary work, with occasional lifting and movement - Hybrid work arrangement with some in-office expectations Application Process: - Direct applicants must apply online, not via email - Request for accommodations or questions can be directed to - Search firms must submit candidates through the firm's agency portal or send blind profiles to Pay Transparency: - Depending on location and qualifications, the pay range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000 per year - Compensation will be determined based on various factors - Comprehensive benefits package offered, including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) DLA Piper is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in their workforce.
