Job Overview This position focuses on criminal defense law, providing the chance to represent clients in various criminal and traffic-related cases. The role is ideal for an attorney eager to handle high-volume cases and collaborate within a supportive team environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft well-organized legal documents.
• Represent clients in court for criminal and traffic-related matters, including DUI, felonies, and reckless driving.
• Manage multiple case files while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Work closely with other legal team members to ensure exceptional client service.
• Provide ongoing legal support, guidance, and strategy throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• An active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in legal writing.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of cases.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet critical deadlines.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Successful completion of the Virginia State Bar Exam.

Certifications

• Virginia State Bar License in good standing (or sitting for the upcoming Bar Exam).
