Duties:

  • Conduct research and analysis in intellectual property law.
  • Draft substantive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Organize, conduct, and manage discovery practice.
  • Participate in hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
  • Interface directly with clients and provide legal counsel.
  • Collaborate with experienced lawyers to handle complex IP litigation matters.
  • Mentor junior associates and support staff as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in intellectual property litigation, with trial experience preferred.
  • Technical background in software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas.
  • Proficiency in conducting legal research and drafting pleadings and motions.
  • Experience managing discovery practice and participating in hearings and depositions.
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
