We represent clients in a variety of legal matters, including litigation, arbitration, regulatory issues, intellectual property, and corporate transactions. As a Trademark Paralegal, you will be responsible for conducting preliminary trademark searches, reviewing and distributing trademark watch notices, assisting with infringement and opposition proceedings, and preparing necessary documents and responses for attorney review. You will also be responsible for coordinating take-down notices with social media platforms, preparing assignments and agreements, and managing relationships with vendors. This position requires a minimum billable requirement of 1600 hours per year. To be successful in this role, you should have a general knowledge of domestic and international trademark prosecution law, be proficient in preparing accurate and complete documents, and have the ability to meet deadlines and manage associated risks. You should also have intermediate PC knowledge, including MS Word, PDF conversion tools, and document management software, and be comfortable using office equipment such as scanners, copiers, and facsimile machines. Additionally, you should have basic knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and computerized docketing and billing systems. We are looking for someone with at least five years of directly related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent training and experience may also be considered.
