Duties

• Evaluate potential medical malpractice cases to determine viability and sign clients.
• Obtain and review relevant medical records to build a strong case foundation.
• Identify liable parties and prepare all necessary pleadings.
• Conduct plaintiff and defendant depositions, including those of doctors and nurses.
• Coordinate expert witness disclosures and trial preparations.
• Resolve cases efficiently while adhering to all firm protocols and best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in medical malpractice is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing complex medical records.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively with the support of a designated paralegal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and testimony preparation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
