A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Mid-Level Insurance Coverage and Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have first and/or third-party insurance coverage and litigation experience, with Florida Bar admission required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle insurance coverage and litigation matters, including both first and third-party claims.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to insurance coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Assist with depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Evaluate insurance policies and coverage disputes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel.
• Provide legal advice and strategy to clients on insurance matters.
• Manage caseload independently and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar is required.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage and litigation.
• Experience with first and/or third-party insurance coverage disputes.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in handling insurance coverage disputes and litigation matters.
• Ability to draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
