A law firm seeks a qualified Associate Attorney to join its Workers' Compensation team in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of experience in workers' compensation law and a strong understanding of relevant procedures and regulations. This position is suited for individuals looking to further their careers in a collaborative environment that handles a diverse array of complex workers' compensation claims.

Duties:

• Manage a variety of workers' compensation cases, including those involving serious and complex injuries.
• Conduct legal research using Lexis and draft necessary legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings and proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for case management and communication.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey and in good standing; admission in New York is a significant advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.

Education:

• JD from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey; New York admission is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
