Job Overview: A law firm specializing in real estate law is seeking an experienced attorney to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial finance and real estate transactions, focusing on representing lenders and borrowers in financing transactions and handling various real estate matters.

Duties:

• Represent lender and borrower clients in complex real estate financing transactions, including construction loans, term loans, and mezzanine loans.
• Handle real estate transactional work such as acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate development projects.
• Provide legal advice and support on real estate matters, including leasing, land use, zoning, and environmental issues.
• Conduct due diligence, draft and negotiate contracts, and review title and survey documents.
• Advise clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to real estate transactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or ability to waive into the Ohio Bar.
• 5+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on commercial finance and real estate.
• Proven track record in handling real estate financing transactions from inception to closing.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting complex legal documents related to real estate.

Certifications:

• Membership in relevant professional associations such as the American Bar Association (ABA) or state-specific real estate bar associations preferred.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess legal risks and provide strategic advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
