Job Overview: A law firm in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a skilled Traditional Labor Attorney who will focus on handling traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns, training, and counseling clients, assisting with grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, NLRB trials, and policy drafting.

Duties:

• Focus primarily on traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns.
• Provide training and counseling to clients regarding traditional labor issues.
• Assist in grievance arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges.
• Represent clients in National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) trials.
• Draft policies related to traditional labor issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in California.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in traditional labor law.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials preferred (Top 25% of class).

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Must possess and maintain a valid license to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in traditional labor law.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Ability to effectively counsel clients on traditional labor issues.
• Experience representing clients in NLRB trials.
• Knowledge of grievance arbitration procedures.
