Job Overview: A law firm in Short Hills, NJ, is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree, 3 years of experience advising private equity firms, and strong analytical abilities.

Duties:

• Advise private equity firms and their portfolio companies in complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents and agreements.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare related reports.
• Provide legal counsel on general corporate matters and regulatory issues affecting private equity clients.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in private equity transactions at a reputable law firm or SEC.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
