Job Overview: A law firm seeks an entry-level Associate Attorney to join their team in Garden Grove, CA. Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment law matters, including ADA compliance and other related legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Conduct legal research to support case development and strategy.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case progress and provide legal advice.
  • Assist in building case strategies, with a focus on preparing cases for trial.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to learn and refine legal skills.
  • Manage a caseload with guidance, ensuring deadlines and court appearances are met.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar (Required).
  • A strong interest in employment law, specifically related to ADA issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, hands-on legal environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar (Required).

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing.
