Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and reports.
• Handle written discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Make virtual and in-person court appearances.
• Interact with clients, adjusters, adversary counsel, witnesses, and the Court.
• Work on diverse legal matters such as auto/trucking, premises liability, workers' compensation, employment law, professional liability, and appellate issues.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of civil litigation experience in private practice.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.
• New York Bar admission is a strong plus.
• Prior clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload in multiple practice areas.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in New Jersey.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
• New York admission is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and legal research tools like Lexis.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
