Job Overview:
A national civil litigation firm is seeking a motivated attorney with at least 5 years of litigation experience to join its team. This firm represents thousands of plaintiffs across the United States in mass tort and individual personal injury cases and holds leadership roles in several high-profile multi-district litigation matters. Location:

  • Irvine, CA

Duties:

  • Handle mass tort and personal injury cases from inception to resolution

  • Manage motion practice, discovery disputes, and other legal procedures

  • Conduct depositions, make court appearances, and assist with trial preparation

  • Collaborate with the legal team on case strategies and case development

  • Research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings

  • Provide legal counsel to clients and communicate updates effectively

  • Contribute to high-profile multi-district litigation cases

  • Ensure timely and accurate management of case files and documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience

  • Experience with motion practice, discovery disputes, depositions, and trial preparation

  • Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California State Bar

  • Strong research and writing skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude

  • Experience in personal injury or mass torts is a plus, but not required if research and writing skills are strong

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of the California State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities

  • Proficiency in motion practice, discovery disputes, and deposition handling

  • Trial preparation skills and court appearance experience

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
