Duties:

  • Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and real estate finance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and transactional documents related to real estate deals.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage title and survey reviews for real estate transactions.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on real estate development and investment projects.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and third parties to ensure smooth and effective deal execution.
  • Take on significant project responsibility and serve as the lead negotiator in high-profile real estate transactions.
  • Support junior associates in the execution of deals, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Remain proactive and detail-oriented in the management of multiple ongoing transactions.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, finance, and development.
  • Strong background in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and transactional documents.
  • Experience managing significant transactions and client relationships.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage client matters independently.
  • Must be admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligible for admission).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of real estate law, including transactional, finance, and development aspects.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex transactions and multiple deadlines.
  • Client-focused with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong team player, capable of mentoring junior associates.
