A leading intellectual property law firm is seeking a Patent Attorney with a background in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Engineering (CE). The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology and protecting innovations. This role is open to both recent graduates with technical backgrounds and experienced attorneys eligible to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Duties:
- Assist clients with patent preparation and prosecution in fields related to computer science, electrical engineering, and related technologies.
- Draft and file patent applications, as well as respond to office actions from the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Conduct prior art searches and analyze the patentability of new inventions.
- Collaborate with inventors and clients to understand and protect their technological innovations.
- Provide legal counsel on intellectual property strategies and patent portfolio management.
- Stay current with developments in patent law and relevant technologies.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in intellectual property law and protecting technological innovations.
- Experience or educational background in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
- Proficiency in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
- Strong research and analytical skills.

Education:

Certifications:
