Job Overview: A law firm in Rock Hill, SC, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold an active law license in good standing with the South Carolina (SC) or North Carolina (NC) Bar Associations. With 2-3 years of experience in Plaintiff's personal injury litigation, the attorney will handle a diverse caseload, provide expert legal representation to clients, and work towards achieving favorable outcomes in personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including client intake, case investigation, and litigation.
• Provide legal representation and counsel to plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including accidents, medical malpractice, and product liability.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to effectively handle personal injury claims and achieve favorable results.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files, including documentation, correspondence, and evidence.
• Stay updated on personal injury laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in good standing with either the South Carolina (SC) or North Carolina (NC) Bar Associations.
• 2-3 years of experience in Plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
• Proven ability to handle personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the South Carolina (SC) or North Carolina (NC) Bar Associations.
