Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an Environmental / Complex Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, outstanding academic credentials, and experience in environmental and complex litigation. Prior judicial clerkship experience is preferred.

Duties:

• Conducting legal research on environmental laws and regulations.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assisting with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and document requests.
• Participating in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
• Collaborating with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client counseling.
• Managing client relationships and providing timely updates on case developments.
• Keeping abreast of developments in environmental and complex litigation law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.
• 3-5 years of experience in environmental and complex litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills, demonstrated through academic achievements and professional work product.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior judicial clerkship experience preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.
