The Supervising Attorney and Community Empowerment Clinical Teaching Fellow at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. will be responsible for providing community empowerment legal services and supervising law students in providing these services to low-income immigrants in Los Angeles County. This is a full-time position located on the Loyola Law School Campus. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree and at least 5 years of experience in immigration law representation. Spanish speaking ability is required. The salary range for this position is $84, - $114,, commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities:

- Provide community empowerment legal services to low-income immigrants in Los Angeles County
- Supervise and direct law students in providing community empowerment legal services
- Manage the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and support grant fundraising and communications efforts
- Represent applicable clinic clients during periods of student absence
- Develop and conduct immigration legal trainings and workshops for the client community
- Co-teach the required courses of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
- Build and foster relationships with the community and expand partnerships to stay updated on the needs of the client community
- Other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:

- JD degree and at least 5 years of experience in immigration law representation
- Must be licensed to practice in California for at least 2 years
- Ability to mentor, supervise, and train law students in an in-house clinical program
- Prior teaching and/or student supervision experience preferred
- Excellent lawyering skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Tenacity, dedication, and a successful track record of working with diverse and vulnerable client populations
- Spanish speaking ability required
- Professionalism, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Commitment to inclusive excellence, education of the whole person, and building a just society
