A law firm is actively seeking a Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a work-from-home position based in Cleveland, OH.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including preparation and filing of necessary legal documents.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding bankruptcy options and implications.
• Conduct client consultations to assess financial situations and determine eligibility for bankruptcy.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and hearings.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate and timely case management.
• Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Ohio Bar admission is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer bankruptcy law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Ohio Bar admission.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy laws and procedures.
