Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a highly skilled litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience to handle a wide array of complex litigation matters. This position can be based in any of the firm’s office locations across the United States. The firm is involved in cutting-edge and novel disputes related to fiduciary obligations, constitutional law, employee benefits, intellectual property, insurance coverage, real estate, and breach of contract claims. Location:

  • Seattle, WA

Duties:

  • Handle complex litigation matters, including fiduciary disputes, pension plan issues, public agency law, employee benefits, intellectual property, and real estate matters.
  • Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in both state and federal courts.
  • Assist with eDiscovery processes and manage document review.
  • Participate in depositions and trial preparation.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously and ensure timely resolution of legal matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients, taking ownership of significant projects.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of litigation experience.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California required.
  • Experience drafting and responding to discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts.
  • eDiscovery experience preferred.
  • Some deposition experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and business judgment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with eDiscovery processes is preferred.
