Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a highly skilled litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience to handle a wide array of complex litigation matters. Location:
Duties:
- Handle complex litigation matters, including fiduciary disputes, pension plan issues, public agency law, employee benefits, intellectual property, and real estate matters.
- Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in both state and federal courts.
- Assist with eDiscovery processes and manage document review.
- Participate in depositions and trial preparation.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously and ensure timely resolution of legal matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients, taking ownership of significant projects.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of litigation experience.
- Admission to the State Bar of California required.
- Experience drafting and responding to discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts.
- eDiscovery experience preferred.
- Some deposition experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
