This position is responsible for resolving employee issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations. The Employee Relations Partner will also conduct HR-related investigations and provide recommendations to operational management and HR business partners. This role requires a deep understanding of company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risk. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily administration of reported concerns and conduct investigations using ServiceNow and Navex systems - Provide guidance on employee relations matters and policy interpretation to supervisors and managers - Partner with operational management, HR, labor relations, and legal teams to create solutions to complex employee relations issues - Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, union contract administration, and employee communication Additional Responsibilities: - Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the supported region - Travel as needed to company sites within the region Skills and Abilities: - Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and company policies - Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills - Impartiality and strong conflict resolution skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization - Strong time management and multitasking abilities - Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices - Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent - 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations - Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Salary and Benefits: - Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 (based on experience and qualifications) - Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance options - Paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave - Tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan Join Our Team: Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
