A law firm is seeking Patent Agents and Technical Specialists to enhance its growing intellectual property practice. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on innovation and client interaction.
Location

Duties
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications.
- Draft writing samples demonstrating the ability to clearly describe complex inventions and provide strong legal support for patentability.
- Communicate proactively with clients to meet their needs and internal production targets.
- Stay updated on current patent law issues and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in patent application preparation and prosecution.
- USPTO registration number and good standing with the USPTO required.
- Strong understanding of patent law, particularly regarding subject matter eligibility.
Education
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science.
Certifications
- USPTO registration required.
Skills
- Ability to write persuasively and concisely in patent applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with proactive career management.
- Experience in computer software, machine learning, or wireless telecommunications is a plus.
