Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases throughout the legal process, from initial consultation to resolution.
• Conduct detailed legal research and draft necessary legal documents.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
• Attend and actively participate in hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience specifically in workers' compensation law.
• Proven litigation and hearing experience in workers' compensation matters.
• Thorough understanding of workers' compensation statutes and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate settlements.
• Capable of managing multiple cases independently and effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Colorado State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and case analysis capabilities.
• Proficient in drafting legal documents and negotiating settlements.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, with the ability to explain complex legal matters to clients.
• Well-organized with an ability to manage a demanding caseload independently.
