Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dynamic and driven Consumer Protection Attorney to join its team in Northglenn, CO. This position involves representing clients in diverse consumer protection matters, including unfair trade practices, credit issues, product liability, and fraud. Duties:

• Provide legal representation in cases related to:
  • Unfair and deceptive trade practices
  • Debt and credit disputes
  • Product liability claims
  • Consumer fraud
• Handle all aspects of case management from initiation to resolution.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and demand letters.
• Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, keeping clients informed throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses, adjusters, and other parties to gather relevant case information.
• Review and summarize case records and documentation.
• Develop case strategies to achieve cost-effective and favorable outcomes.
• Stay updated on current legislation affecting consumer protection laws.
• Contribute to a paperless workflow and maintain accurate case records in the case management system.
• Address new client opportunities and execute attorney-client contracts as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer protection law (preferred).
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and deliver client-focused solutions.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active state license to practice law (required).
