Location
Duties
- Oversee personal injury case files from start to finish, ensuring thorough case management
- Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and demand letters
- Delegate tasks and manage a team, including paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and advocate for reasonable agreements
- Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions
- Conduct detailed case research, including reviewing medical records and gathering evidence
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to optimize case handling and outcomes
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation in the firm's case management system
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, with litigation experience preferred
- Strong commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes for injured individuals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
Education
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications
- Active license to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar
