A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Eminent Domain Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in eminent domain cases.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the firm's brand and reputation.
• Manage law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.
• Build cases for trial, including evidence development, witness interviews, and depositions.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation in eminent domain matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in case strategy development and implementation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Attend court hearings and trials as required.
• Handle settlement negotiations when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on eminent domain preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities.
• Superior research and writing skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in teams.
• Prior experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.
• Experience building cases for trial, including evidence development and deposition experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in real estate/real property law.
• Familiarity with California eminent domain laws and procedures.
• Demonstrated success in trial advocacy.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
