The Role:

As a Consumer Protection Paralegal, you will work closely with our team of attorneys on groundbreaking and high-stakes litigation cases. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with case management tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced legal environment.

What You Will Do:

- Conduct legal research using resources such as LEXIS/NEXIS and Westlaw
- Draft legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with case management tasks, such as organizing and maintaining case files
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other team members
- Work with minimal supervision to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Our Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (Paralegal certificate is a plus)
- Strong academic credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with legal research tools
- Excellent organizational and writing skills
- Prior paralegal experience is preferred but not required

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Has a strong interest in consumer protection and class action litigation
- Is willing to work overtime as needed
- Is able to start on or before June 1, 2022
- Is available to work in our Washington, DC office on a full-time basis
