A law firm in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to represent clients in personal injury cases. The attorney will handle all aspects of the legal process, including negotiations, case preparation, depositions, hearings, and trials. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for injured clients and helping them achieve justice while continuing their healing process. This role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment focused on client satisfaction and team growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for injured clients through all stages of personal injury cases, from initial consultation to resolution or trial.
  • Conduct comprehensive case reviews, including medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve fair compensation for clients.
  • Lead and participate in depositions, including witness preparation, and handle discovery processes.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients during hearings and trials, presenting evidence and legal arguments effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance.
  • Manage client intake, develop case strategies, and tailor legal approaches to individual circumstances.
  • Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to build strong cases.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, adhering to deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives, contributing to team development and client success.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
  • Personal injury law experience or related litigation experience preferred.
  • Ability to reliably commute to the office and travel locally to meet with clients.
  • Previous experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, including comfort with phone consultations and client interaction.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
