Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting consultations with potential clients, providing expert advice on various family law matters, and representing clients in court proceedings. This role also includes mentoring and training junior team members, with a preference for candidates experienced in Washington Family Law statutes.

Duties:

• Conduct consultations with potential clients to evaluate their legal needs and secure representation.
• Provide expert legal advice on various family law issues, including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence.
• Represent clients as the lead attorney in court proceedings, such as mediation and depositions.
• Mentor and train junior attorneys and support staff, offering guidance and sharing expertise.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law statutes and regulations, focusing on Washington Family Law.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in family law, with practical experience in divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and related matters.
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated compassion and a strong desire to assist clients in difficult family situations.
• Consistent track record of exceeding performance goals and demonstrating effective case management.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State (or willingness to obtain).

Skills:

• Expertise in family law statutes, particularly Washington Family Law statutes preferred.
• Strong mentoring and team coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain high standards of client service.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
