A law firm in Bala Cynwyd is seeking a Litigation Attorney with over 6 years of experience to handle complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess significant responsibility for matter management, exceptional analytical and writing skills, and strong communication abilities. Experience as a first or second chair trial attorney is preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct depositions, prepare and answer pleadings, handle discovery, and draft motions and briefs.
- Represent clients in court, including presenting oral arguments and engaging in trial preparation.
- Analyze complex legal issues in a detailed and organized manner.
- Interact effectively with clients, professional staff, and peers, providing strategic legal counsel and updates.
- Prepare detailed legal research and written reports to support litigation strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case-related tasks.
- Develop and execute case strategies and manage all aspects of case preparation and presentation.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Bar (additional bar admissions are a plus).
- Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex litigation, including taking depositions, preparing pleadings and discovery, and drafting motions and briefs.
- First or second chair trial experience preferred.
