A law firm seeks a mid-level litigation associate with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join its litigation team. This position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases with a focus on courtroom appearances and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and analytical skills, with a passion for litigation and client service.
Duties
- Represent clients in litigation matters, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial stages.
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Handle case management and participate in case strategy development.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials, providing effective advocacy in court.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Desire to handle court appearances and client interactions.
- A license to practice law in the state of Ohio (or ability to obtain).
Education
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility to become admitted).
