A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team in Coral Gables, FL. This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity for an entry-level attorney to manage cases from inception through post-trial. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position provides hands-on experience in legal research, case management, and courtroom appearances.

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload, from initial filing through post-trial activities.
• Draft and prepare litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Assist in reviewing legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with senior attorneys and legal staff to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality of case details and sensitive client information.
• Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and billing requirements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 0-3 years of legal experience in litigation or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of legal processes and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a legal team.
• Client-focused with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills:

• Strong project management and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of professionalism.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
