A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its team in El Paso, TX. This full-time, on-site position presents an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1-5 years of experience in real estate law. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of real estate transactions, contract law, and legal processes related to property law. You will play a key role in advising clients and working on real estate-related legal matters within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on a range of real estate matters, including property transactions, contracts, and lease agreements.
  • Assist in negotiating and drafting real estate contracts, purchase agreements, and closing documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide timely and accurate advice on complex real estate issues.
  • Represent clients in real estate litigation, including disputes over property ownership, contracts, and other related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations in all real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and third parties to resolve legal issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in real estate law or a related field.
  • Proven ability to handle various real estate transactions and related legal matters.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility to practice in Texas.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of real estate law, property law, and contractual agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, draft, and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve legal issues creatively.
