A law firm seeks a skilled mid-level Litigation Associate with a minimum of three years of experience to join its Litigation Department. The firm values strong analytical abilities, exceptional writing skills, and a genuine interest in courtroom advocacy. Experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation is preferred but not required.
Duties
- Represent clients in litigation matters, including conducting court appearances and hearings.
- Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and legal teams.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage discovery processes, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their legal needs are met effectively.
- Stay informed on developments in litigation, including healthcare and energy law, when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of litigation experience, commensurate with time in practice.
- Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills.
- Exceptional analytical and writing abilities to support case development.
- Self-motivated and capable of handling a variety of litigation matters independently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
