A law firm located in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in complex litigation matters, including contract/commercial, antitrust, product liability, labor & employment, and IP among other practice group litigation needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting memoranda, motions, and briefs, arguing motions in court, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with case and trial strategy and preparation. Superior research, writing, organizational, and communication skills are essential for this role.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research on complex legal issues related to various litigation matters.
- Draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for court filings.
- Argue motions in court and represent clients in hearings and other proceedings.
- Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
- Assist with case and trial strategy development and preparation.
- Provide inventive legal solutions that meet the challenges and objectives of clients' disputes.
- Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and legal staff on case management and strategy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
- Work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines and demands.
- Contribute to a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment and team and client success.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice or eligible for admission to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- 2+ years of experience in complex litigation matters, including contract/commercial, antitrust, product liability, labor & employment, and IP among other practice group litigation needs.
- Excellent research, writing, and drafting skills.

Education:
Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA accredited law school.
