- Provide legal support for Peaks Renewables Holdco, LLC, a high growth renewables business owned by **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to renewable energy projects
- Oversee and mentor a small internal legal team, and engage outside counsel when necessary
- Support Peaks' M&A activities and establish policies and processes to ensure compliance and promote growth
- Work closely with cross-functional colleagues and serve as a member of the Summit corporate leadership team
- JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one state
- 10+ years of experience in a law firm, state regulatory agency, or in-house setting, with experience in renewables development preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively

Experience and Education Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state
- 10+ years of experience in a law firm, state regulatory agency, or in-house setting
- Experience in renewables development preferred
- Strong transactional and management experience required
- Experience in real estate law, utility regulation, and/or corporate governance a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to Peaks Renewables Holdco, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to renewable energy projects
- Manage a small internal legal team and engage outside counsel when necessary
- Support Peaks' M&A activities and establish policies and processes to ensure compliance and promote growth
- Work closely with cross-functional colleagues and serve as a member of the Summit corporate leadership team
- Manage Peaks' corporate governance, including supporting Board reporting and entity management
- Provide effective internal support for Peaks working alongside a wide range of shared Summit functions
- Mentor and manage effectively, with a business-friendly approach to legal problem solving
