Duties:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparations, trials, motions, and appeals.
- Serve as lead counsel in jury trials, particularly in personal injury cases.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys on litigation strategies and conflict resolution.
- Participate in ongoing legal education and contribute to the development of the legal team.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to ensure 5-star client care.
- Manage a high-value caseload, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation and trial experience, with multiple first-chair jury trials.
- Experience in personal injury litigation preferred; criminal jury trial experience may be considered.
- Strong decision-making skills and public speaking experience.
- Proficiency in advanced computer skills, reviewing reports, and managing case budgets.
- Experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration representation.
- Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload.
- Strong relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership in the Louisiana State Bar.
