Biotech-Life Science Patent Prosecution Patent Agent or Scientist The candidate should have excellent academic credentials. An advanced degree (. preferred) in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, cellular/molecular biology, molecular genetics, microbiology or comparable degree is required. Should ideally have 2+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for life sciences, biotech or pharmaceuticals inventions; and/or experience in biotech commercialization, such as university tech transfer, or industry commercialization/regulatory compliance. Must demonstrate the ability to apply scientific expertise together with commercial and legal considerations to understand the clients' big picture in the commercialization sense. Previous law firm or industry experience and current admission to the USPTO are required. Application Deadline: May 3, 2034.
