Job Overview:

The Senior Insurance Defense Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, drafting legal documents, and providing effective representation for clients. The candidate should possess exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.

Job Duties:

• Manage a litigation caseload, including case analysis, strategy development, and courtroom representation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal counsel.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and JD from an accredited university.
• Admission to the State Bar of Illinois.
• Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense experience.
• Proven experience in managing a litigation caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree and JD from an accredited university.
