A law firm in Morristown is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and attend legal proceedings. Experience in insurance coverage or litigation and excellent academic credentials are required.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice to clients.
• Conduct rigorous legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
• Prepare and review pleadings, briefs, discovery, motions, and other legal correspondence.
• Engage in formal correspondence with opposing counsel and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
• Work on complex insurance coverage matters.
• Meet minimum billable hours requirements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in New Jersey; additional admissions a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage or litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Experience or interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to practice in New Jersey; additional admissions a plus.

Skills:
