Job Overview: A dynamic and growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Transactional Attorney with expertise in cross-border transactions. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in transactional law, including corporate structuring, contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate matters. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, with a dual law license (US and Mexico) highly preferred. This role offers the opportunity to engage in challenging legal matters while collaborating with a diverse client base and other legal professionals.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents such as contracts and agreements
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and real estate transactions
  • Handle cross-border legal matters, ensuring compliance with both US and Mexican laws
  • Conduct due diligence on business transactions and manage legal risks
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop effective legal strategies
  • Stay current on relevant regulations and legal developments in the US and Mexico

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas; dual licensure in the US and Mexico is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transactional law
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills in both languages
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, corporate structuring, and cross-border transactions
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
  • Dual licensure in the US and Mexico is preferred

Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
