Duties

  • Facilitate the structuring and negotiation of leveraged finance transactions, particularly concerning buyouts and acquisitions.
  • Provide comprehensive support for both lender and borrower-side practices within the finance team.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence and thorough analysis of financing agreements and associated documentation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate essential legal documents, including loan agreements and credit facilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to develop innovative financing strategies.
  • Stay informed about current market trends and legal developments relevant to leveraged finance.

Requirements

  • At least three years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or a similar area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic performance is highly preferred.

Certifications

  • Must be admitted to practice law in CA.
