Law Firm Seeking Mid/Senior-level Project Finance Associate in North America H1: Join a Globally Connected Law Firm as a Project Finance Associate H2: Gain Experience in Utility Scale Power and Infrastructure Projects Baker McKenzie, a leading law firm with over 70 offices worldwide, is seeking a Mid/Senior-level Project Finance Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Projects and Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility scale power and infrastructure projects, cash equity investment structures, and M&A transactions in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors. Responsibilities: • Prepare legal documentation for project financing transactions • Negotiate with clients and manage client relationships • Collaborate with diverse teams and cultures • Independently run transaction closings under Partner's supervision Requirements: • 3-6 years of experience in sponsor-side project finance work • Strong knowledge of financial model driven investment transactions • Expertise in limited and non-recourse project financings • Admission to and good standing in state's Bar • Excellent academic credentials and communication skills • Prior client facing experience Compensation: • Bonus eligible • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits • Expected base compensation of $260-390K annually • Range determined by location and relevant factors Join a Passionately Collaborative Community Baker McKenzie takes pride in their unique way of thinking, working, and behaving.
